6. Tivat Airport is 3.5 kilometers from the camp venue in the center of Kilovat. The taxi fare to the center is 10–15 €. The cheapest accommodation is apartments, which you can find on RMB. Nearby is a small resort town with the best and most beautiful promenade on the Boka Kotorska Bay coast.
7. For those who prefer accommodations with a sea view, we recommend the following hotels: Hotel Palma (map link), Hotel La Roche (map link), Hotel Pine (map link), Regent 5* (website link), Hotel Carruba (map link), Hotel Camellia (map link). If you want to enjoy a sea view, we recommend booking apartments on the first line.
8. We recommend renting a VW Polo car, which costs approximately 35-40 euros per day. Parking can be challenging in the center of Tivat. However, there are paid parking lots available without any issues, costing 1.5-2 euros per hour.
9. During breaks between lectures and meetings in the conference hall, you will have the opportunity to engage in a cultural and sports program: take three to four-hour hikes in the mountains, go on a catamaran ride in the Bay of Kotor, visit a wild rocky beach, and take trips to Kotor and Perast. In the evening, you can visit local restaurants where, in addition to enjoying delicious meals, you can discuss the topic of "How to Live to Be a Thousand Years Old." The average bill at a seaside restaurant is about 40 euros, while a more budget-friendly option in town costs around 15 euros.
10. The best restaurant in town is Gallardo. Please note that it does not offer a sea view and requires a reservation.
11. In the city, you can purchase a tourist SIM card with good LTE internet. The cost ranges from 7 to 15 euros for 1 to 2 weeks of usage. The choice of operator is not particularly important.
12. Having a foreign bank card is not necessary for payments in Montenegro. It is a cash-friendly country where all services can be paid in cash. Please bring euros, as dollars are not accepted.
13. In Montenegro, many medications are available without a prescription and are about 30% cheaper than in Moscow. You can purchase most drugs freely, but it is advisable to have a prescription from a Russian doctor to avoid any issues. However, the selection of medications is smaller than in Moscow; for example, you cannot buy Repatha or Ozempic here.
14. On the first floor of the building where the event is held, there is a grocery store (on the backside), a children’s coffee-playroom (you can take tea/coffee with you or to go). A couple of minutes from the studio, there are parking lots, a promenade, and cafes/restaurants for lunch.
15. Dining options near the studio: 1. Babi (European cuisine cafe-restaurant) (map link) 3 minutes walk from the studio (8:00-00:00); 2. Gallardo (restaurant) (map link) 8 minutes walk from the studio (8:00-23:00); 3. Marea (restaurant) (map link) 12 minutes walk from the studio (7:00-01:00).
16. Parking near the studio: 1. Porto Montenegro parking, open 24/7 (cash payment) — (map link) 5 minutes walk from the studio; 2. Underground parking, open 24/7 (cash payment) — (map link) 2 minutes walk from the studio.
